LOL And we relate on the same scale here. My first " masterpeice" looked like a pile of dog ****. Dont take it too serious, and experiment. Thats what I did, then you start wanting to learn specifics. This is only my second try at a map, but I only work on it when I feel like it, and it works great for me.
i'm glad to see you so far along...i really dig the map...is it just me or is there something really "D and D" dungeon master about this kind of map making?

Im not quite sure I understand what your saying. Their is a big difference in vegitated type maps and urban maps, usually neither are combined. Im glad you like it though.
search in the forums you will find the lowdetail tutorial Dylan...its a long explanation so better to just search it your slef...MSN me if you really dont get something..
I fixed it. I had the grass at 3 (lol) but it was supposed to be at 1. I talked to Rhino about it and it made a big difference. Im working on texturing around the buildings a bit so they arent sitting in mud.
