I don't get it. Who need more maps when everyone playing mostly Mutrah, Fallujah etc?

GPO is gameplay objects, defines flag locations sizes, assets spawn points, player spawnpoints and a bunch of other stuff.

Mappacks and other additional stuff for PR should be in Download section. I probably never know about this if someone wouldn't mention it in random thread. Heck, there are a lot of other useful stuff "hidden" somewhere in the forum.

It's tough to learn to make maps. Every once in awhile I make a push at it but between the bugs and the research it's not surprising that there's very few people who can actually make maps.

Even now I don't know where the map packs are, it is a hit or miss with the search function and for a new player they'll have no idea whatsoever of where to get them, 75% of the time I'm reccomending this game a player doesn't know where the game is even installed.
Not exactly the few people but it takes a lot of background knowledge of how maps should be gameplay wise, coupled with knowledge of the location(if it's in a place on earth etc). From there it is bugs with the editor and what i'm trying to say is basically that everyone can do it, but it can be quite tedious sometimes.Trekkie wrote:It's tough to learn to make maps. There is plenty of new stuff, but not enough initiative from testers or testers itself.
You can apply to become tester here, that would actually be helpful.

I'd enjoy more maps centered around a more mountainous Afghanistan. Lashkar valley does it well with its downhill and uphill firefights, choke points, numerous cave systems.

I hate lashkar and korengal, maybe the Taliban should get some kind of boost in terms of climbing. All the hills are so annoying when trying to get behind enemy lines.
Sbeneh is a really nice map in my opinion. I think most of the new maps are kinda too small. For example Falklands or this island map where British forces fight against Russians.
