They are faults in the design of the game. This is one of the war games i play, but this one is the only one where i see people prone spam. Basically due to the fact that there isn't much of an animation for mozing from prone to standing. My other one actually shows you using your arms to get up and has an animation for going prone. Well TBH, I don't prone spam and hate those that do. I'd say that's an exploit too. Just not one that has such an impact.

For 1, you cannot always place them in buildings since you cannot predict where it will go. 2, it can be stopped. Prone spamming cannot be.

Wow, and I thought I was an idiot moving my spawnpoint because it glitched into the wall and figured it to be "naughty". I practically feel like a saint.

it is clearly an exploit of bf2s poor spawn static detecting, and if i were a server admin i would have an absolute no tolerance policy
this all came up very early in .5 testing if i recall, and was something that couldnt be fixed on time for the .5 release.
now, if you guys want to show everyone that you are not mature enough to have some self discipline and not exploit a bug which is cheap and obviously a bug, thats fine with me.
maybe next time the DEV's should hold back the next release until everything like this is fixed, knowing that the community isnt mature enough to not take advantage of it

We have a fix in mind for 0.6, and hopefully it will resolve this exploit!

If I'm missing the point of this then forgive me but surely an SL/Officer could say "Right. We'll leave a cache of weapons in building X and rendezvous there if something goes wrong". Surely that's the purpose of the RP? I would consider this fair usage.
If it's put somewhere that's impossible to destroy deliberately then that's glitching/exploiting.

It is real easy not to say it, but in a game where large and consealed cover is sparse, it is hard for it not to go into the building. Say someone tried to put in under one of the buildings or behind a rock, and it went into it by accident??? Wait, I think you mean putting it in a room that would be normally accessible by anyone, which we can all agree is fine. What we're complaining about is standing against a wall and purposely clipping it inside the solid building, where no one has any way of ever seeing it..:iGi:. I see it as a glitch if your hiding it in a wall or rock or any other area that it can not be taken out.
I personally would like to see rally points that look like Humvee's or tents or something relatively large and realistic. Maybe a para drop of a large container or similar?
No matter, this mod rocks. It has made me an addict again and I forgot about other mods and 2142 all together. Thanks PR team.

some feckers glitching theirs on PTG just then so I disconnected.
We was USMC on Quai and had pig farm, processing, Govt office and fishing village and a PLA squad glitched their rally point at processing plant so that they could kill people coming out of the plant.
Whats that? "spawn somewhere else" I hear you say? normally I would but if I didnt find that rally point and destroy it we probably would have just got to fishing village and then they would cap processing plant.
As it was I saw PLA spawning from a wall on a nearby building as I was looking for the rally point so I just disconnected.
This needs sorting more than the server crashes imo.

Yeh wooly, I saw your message in game mate. I'm not sure who it was but I'll get admins to run back and through and see who was running the sqd at the time to get an explanation.
