when they change the type of ammo , the zoom disappear and when you enter in the turret , you cant zoom for a litle period of time .

#1 Don't think we can stop that from happening

#2 It's not a zoom delay, it's a delay added to the position so you just don't hit F2 and start firing. It's the way we can have a delay when switching positions. That gives multicrewed tanks an advantage and we like it.

Any chance on the driver getting a zoom feature? Also, infrared would be cool too, to help see through the smoke. Doubt that will ever happen, crappy BF2 engine can't handle it.

the 2 most important changes necessary for tanks imo are
1) stabilised turret (even if that means destabilising the 50 cal)
2) 50 cal fired and scope zoomable while turned in

The unzoom thing when reloading may have a way of stopping it.

As I posted in the Tanks feedback thread, we tried some stuff with stabilised turret, and I don't think it will ever work.

The .50 cal ironsight may be added but it's a lot of work to align the camera with the sight. So it's not a priority.

Firing while turned in don't know if it's even possible. I know we can set an option to allow it to fire while ducked, but you will need a different camera to see what you are hitting, and people would still be able to fire at you since it's open on top. The only way I can think of would be to have another position in the tank, but using the same weapon from both positions would not work I believe.

There are more suggestions for the tanks that can affect more the gameplay that we are considering.

So a cobra gunner sight for the tank basically.
