off topic.

We are talking about how we can kiss Rhino's @$$ after he makes the QE Carrier and a F-35..

But really, will the F-35 ever make it ingame?

Will you make any carrier for Project Reality?

We know that you can, but will you make the F-35?

And whats exactly is a 401K?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! :-?

Well I did make a 100min CVF QE Class Carrier for the GA.net speed modeling contest a few months back which I failed miserably at since everyone else was smart and made small boats with lots of detail hehe :)

The USN upgraded some of their squadrons from F18C Hornets to F/A-18E Super Hornets and F18D Hornets to F/A-18F Super Hornets. They still have many squadrons operating the C/D Model, however. Both the USN and the USMC will replace the C/D Variant with the F35C and F35B, respectively. The USN is considering purchasing a few more Super Hornets to bring up other Hornet squadrons because of a few delays with the Carrier Variant.

WRT F117A:

It was retired a few months back. The F22A can suit its role (a stealth strike aircraft) and perform better in almost every category, including speed, stealth, payload, technology, maneuverability, etc. The B2 will also be able to take over some of the F117's role if neccesary. There are also discussions about the possibility of an FB22 to replace the F15E.

I dont know why you just told me about all the F-18 stuff. I already knew that, i was just saying that the F-18 will be around for awhile in its upgraded format and will not be completely replaced by the F-35 any time soon as you seemed to have suggested before. And you seem to have just agreed with me so im a bit confused on that one... :? ??:

As for the F-22 i know it can do the role of the F-117 but as of right now everything points to it being used mainly as a fighter, seeing as the B2(as you pointed out) can do the actual bombing as well as the F-35 which is more tailer made for that job. I mean the Air Force only talks of it in a air defense role.

X32 FASTER ? You're kidding me ! I saw the documentary about JSF program, the Boeing design have to been modified for SuperSonic/SubSonic flight...
Due to the heavy delta wing design of the prototypes, Boeing demonstrated STOVL and supersonic flight in separate configurations, with the STOVL configuration requiring that some parts be removed from the fighter. The company promised that their conventional tail design for production models would not require separate configurations. By contrast, the Lockheed Martin X-35 prototypes were capable of transitioning between their STOVL and supersonic configurations in mid-flight.
Greater Range !? ALL MODERN Aircraft have unlimited range... God Bless Air Refueling.

And it realy realy look ugly.

By The Way nice Queen Elisabeth Carrier rhino :D

I don't think it will be replacing the RAF Harrier GR9 and defiantly not the Tornado GR4, I don't think that has a replacement as of yet.

The Tornado F3 is being currently replaced by the EF2000.
Easy rhino, we just find out who made this video, then we ask nicely to borrow their 3D model for the good of promoting their design :)

ehhhh no james, the guy who made that video just used the officially released video of the company's designing the new carriers. You can also find the video without the hell march music and text shoved in on the RN site.

Future Carrier : Future Ships : Surface Fleet : Operations and Support : Royal Navy

They have just used the CAD model and done a animated video on it in max, maya or something like that, they could have probably done it in there CAD program to some limits.

Thou even if I could get my hands on there CAD model of the carrier which they wouldn't let any one without official access the model itself, with it been done in CAD could never be used as a game model. I have tried in the past to import CAD models into max etc as I knew how to use CAD programs way before I could model in max, and the outcome is a really unoptimized mesh, thou very, very accurate. The only thing you could do with it is just grab some drawings off it and design it from scratch from there :p
